Spring

I can feel it! The birds are singing their songs. The sun sets later than the day before. Spring is coming!! We still have a couple feet of snow and the temperature this morning was a heat wave at 23 degrees but it is coming! I find myself daydreaming of all the things I want to do as this new season is ushered in. Beautiful flowers, warmer temps, bike rides, hiking in new places, playing outside with my kids are just just some of the thoughts that fill my mind. What are some things your looking forward to? Part of living intentionally is being present so,if we are going to enjoy the present what are some things we can do to celebrate each day in this season? Also, as we say goodby to winter what things are left on your list to accomplish? For me there is a luge an hour north of where we live and I think it has my name on it!! I will take pictures and share them when I go!

Engage

What does it look like and how does one live fully? How do we embrace the present moment in our lives and without abandon capture everything it has to offer, everything God has to offer to us? Often people talk of living the best life but no one can live their best life apart from God. For God created us and gave us all of gifts to be utilized and God created the world and all of its secrets to be discovered and revealed. So how then do we engage with the almighty to live fully? How do we partner with Him to unlock the mysteries waiting for us? Communing with God and turning those secular moments into sacred ones. Looking at each moment as a possibility. Waiting with expectancy for the King to engage with us in spite of who we are and what we can offer. Where we have been or what we have done. For there is nothing we can offer except the acceptance of His love and presence in our humble lives. He created us to be more yet knowing that we could not achieve it without Him. Life should be a grand adventure! We should not be normal or ordinary. We are called to shine like the brightest stars. To be that lighthouse on the hill. To love fiercely and be not only transformed through that love but motivated and catapulted by it into a fully present, fully engaged, radical life altering adventure with the Creator of all things!!

Hebrews 10:39 (NIV)
But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

Galatians 5:1(NIV)
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

John 10:10 (NIV)
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

John 15:5 (NIV)
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NLT)
16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Living Fully

My Dearest Friend,

I don't know about you but living a full life, one without regrets, you know the kind of life where you wake up in the morning and are filled with excitement and anticipation is not something I have mastered yet! I know people like this, although not many, who can tell you story after story of their life adventures. I want to be one of those people!! I want to live the kind of life where every moment is intentional and not wasted. I don't want to just exist and make it through life and look back and say I wish I would of, fill in the blank, or where did the time go! This blog is about learning to grow into the life I want and feel called to! I hope you will join me for the journey!!

Blessings,

Angela
